We are very excited to share with you that Project Pals was named as a 2020 Common Sense Selection for Learning by Common Sense Education.
We are very excited to share with you that Project Pals was named as a 2020 Common Sense Selection for Learning by Common Sense Education. The Common Sense Selections for Learning is awarded to best-in-class media resources and tools that facilitate great learning experiences for students and educators.
We were approached by Common Sense Education in June, after which we provided them with an account for testing. They thoroughly reviewed the application by creating several projects and in September the review came through. They described Project Pals as a ‘Unique Project-Based Learning Tool that Focuses on Collaboration,’ which has features similar to consumer-grade project management software.
The excellent review states that Project Pals is a promising tool for project-based learning, and “gets students building real skills -- not just for critical thinking and creation, but for collaboration and organization -- that directly translate to the real world.”
The review looks at Project Pals from multiple perspectives, such as student engagement, pedagogy, content and student assessment. In terms of student engagement, the review states that the application has flexible options for content creation (text, videos, drawings, images, and more,) that will appeal to students and help them create unique and dynamic projects. Pedagogically, it helps students learn in authentic and empowering ways that require critical thinking, creativity and collaboration.
As a company that sets its mission to make high quality project-based learning accessible for all students, we are very proud to be named as one of the Common Sense Selections for Learning.
You can try out Project Pals by selecting one of our Free Trial projects, inviting your students to join the project, assign the project to groups of students and monitor their work with analytics. You can also schedule a Project Pals demo.
